I appreciate that this is a very expensive toy - however for my little one it has offered GREAT value for money in terms of the HOURS and HOURS of fun he has got from it. It is also quite sizeable so not great if you don't want to see toys after littel ones have gone to bed. The one we originally purchased had a batch of stickers missing but the customer service from Amazon was amazing - although their solution was to have send an entire new kitchen from which we had to fish out the missing sticker pack and then arrange for the box to be returned but not too great a nusiance. The pots and pans and various accompaniments are great (although a little small) and even the cardboard boxes have lasted so far (nearly four months after purchase). There is a washing up bowl which my little one happily splishes around in - so beware if used properly things can get a little messy! The oven and dishwashers have clicking turn knobs and theres hanging hooks and racks for them to display things on. The open ended compartment is also a little strange as you feel it shoud have a door but to be honest this doesn't bother my little one in the slightest - he spends HOURS playing with it - I would like the boiling noise to be a little louder but I am sure there's a reason for that. Given that my little one constantly douses it in water, flour,milk etc the stickers have already started to peel off - but it seems to make no difference to his obvious enjoyment of it - I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this product to anyone with enough space - even my neighbour (who works in a nursery) has commented on how fantastic it is - once my little one grows out of it its going straight to the nursery for others to enjoy as much as he has!
