This is my fourth book and I was very nervous because it is based on personal letters from prison (I was in jail for 5 and a half years), mostly to my partner and covers our acrimonious break-up. But it also looks at the developing Irish peace process from within the IRA section of the prison. The reviews have been very complimentary: The Irish Times has said: "one of the most important books to emerge from the conflict in Northern Ireland." The Sunday Business Post said: "Morrison's book, while unapologetically hardline, is shot through with subtlety and feeling." I am currently working on a play, based on my last novel, 'The Wrong Man'.
