Move over Lordi, the new kings of Euro Rock have arrived,

Well what can I say? If you want to know what Crouchy was "doing the robot" to on Tuesday night, then this is it. Never has anything so rocking come out of that little capital of Europe, Wales. You will want to listen to this over an over again, and no demonic messages in site. Think of Travelling Wilburys with big guitars and you will be close to the sound of the SKWAD.
Peace out

Formed from the remnants of Psychosquad back in 2004, Pontypridd rockers S.K.W.A.D. rattle off a list of influences which have you anticipating a fresh, unique sound for their take on modern metal. And on half of this album they come close to achieving it.
"The Useless", "Hail To The King", "Born.Lie.fight.Die" and others are huge slabs of powerful, punky, driving rock which makes you wish they had a better name you could casually drop into conversation to impress your metal mates. But then you'll get a generic pound of mince in the shape of "Team Blowout" or "Why?" and you'll be railing at the gods of rawk for being so bloody inconsistent. Nearly but not quite.

Put simply this album is awesome.
Admittedly I had this album for a while before I gave it a serious listen, but now do I regret not playing it sooner ? I can't stop listening to it ! There's not a bad track on this. These boys deserve all the success that's coming to them.
