Book Description

This is my story of my heartbreaking battle with a mental illness, it is from my memory alone. It is a detailed memoir of the struggle my family and I went through during a very challenging time in my young life. I hope to enlighten you, inspire you, support anyone going through any type of mental distress. I hope to give outsiders a frank insight to this type of health issue. I would love to help break the taboo of mental health and encourage people to seek help and others to help people in need. If you are interested in mental health, are studying the subject then this is the book for you. Enjoy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspiring - a must read 12 Mar. 2012

I decided to read Samantha's book after hearing Samantha on a local radio station 'Pete Price - Radio City Liverpool'. Samantha came across as a very bright articulate woman, who had been through hell and had come out the other side. Although I am lucky enough not to have suffered with depression; I know a few people who have. I suggest that this is a great read for anyone who would like to understand the turmoil a depression sufferer goes through, Samantha; you are an inspiration and you are blessed with a lovely family.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful book 8 Jan. 2013

I decided to read this book after hearing Samantha on Pete Price radio show a number of months ago. Having suffered from depression myself and at times still struggling I was intrigued to read someone else's struggle with depression and how they have dealt with it. I could relate to Samantha in many ways and the heartbreak she suffered through depression. I though it was wonderful for her to share her experience and in a way this book has helped me in a small way to deal with my own depression and to talk about it more. Thank you for sharing Samantha. And for helping people with depression realise that one day as you say the sky will stop falling down. X
