Product Description

Desperate to end her husband’s domestic abuse, a young woman finds a special potion that may change his violent ways. But waking up next to a Zombie was not the exact transformation that she was hoping for, as her husband has become the leader of a zombie uprising and is determined to convert the townsfolk into an army of the un-dead.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not A Zombie Film 28 May 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase
Straight off I'm going to say I don't consider this Latin type low budget film directed by Ricardo Islas to be a zombie film. (And it should not be confused with ZOMBIE FARM FINAL CUT directed by B.LUCIANO BARSUGLIA 2007. That was a proper zombie film.)
Back to the film by Ricardo Islas. It starts off with a female reporter looking for a story and who latches onto a character who "helps" people for money. The guy might be a con man. We see him trying to help a woman whose getting beaten up by her husband and she wants him to stop. Later the husband dies. The woman returns and says the man will not leave her alone. Well, he's come back from the dead hasn't he. Dead husband attacks con man who shoots the dead guy in the forehead. That's the way you kill zombies aint it. Except we see the dead guy get up.
That was reason enough for me to reject this as a zombies film. Later on we see more dead come back. The dead folks get very little screen time and while we learn what's what about them, the title of this film is going to attract zombie fans who are going to be extremely disappointed. Had it ben called Voodoo Farm for example there would have been no confusion.
Extras include 2 trailers. UK Release.

2.0 out of 5 stars More voodoo than zombie 28 Feb 2013
Starts off quite ok. Has characters that are likeable. I thought that at one point the undead would bite and turn others into zombies, but this was not the case. The people were basically converted into 'undead' by being given a potion from a voodoo shamen.
