A Great Book 4 Jun 2004
A Kid's Review - Published on
Format: Paperback
The people in the book were like me because the kid was nearly my age. The story had some sad parts but a happy ending that made me feel good. I have already recommended the book to my friend at school who had already read The Traveler's Gift.

By iloveaerobics - Published on
Format: Paperback
This is a must have for any person searching for their own meaning of life. Andy Andrews does a miraculous job w/ the writing and flow of the c story. The suspense keeps keeps the reader from being able to put the book down.

Andy addresses many issues that most Americans deal w/ today: poverty, debt, financial ruin, personal failure, etc.

Any's story is heart gripping and truly puts the important things in life into perspective.

Wonderful book for teens and adults alike. You will be blessed by this book.

Andy Andrews Changed the way my family looks at things! 4 Mar 2010
By W. Ray - Published on
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I just recently was introduced to the Andy Andrews collection. The young traveler's gift was an excellent read for my self but I also gave it to my two older kids (14 and 12) to read. It is basically the same story as the Traveler's Gift but tweaked to relate to a teenager or young adult in the early years of college. It may be a little mature for my 12 yr old girl (deals with alcohol and drug abuse and the poor decisions that result) but the overall message is very positive and this is a minor part of the book. I highly recommend all of Andrew's books and this one is great for the whole family!!
