Not So Dogmatic! 8 Nov 2009
Format:Paperback
Reading the first review you might get the impression that Omraam Mikhael is very dogmatic. This is far from true.
I spent many summers in his centre in France. He never ever mentioned ET's.
He was very concerned with the WAY we eat, our consciousness while eating. One of my favourite lines is (from memory) 'Food is a love letter from God'.

Omraam ji has written a lovely book about why we should not eat meat.
MEAT Attunes us to the LOwer Astral levels. For Light workers this is an important issue. He warns us that everything we eat is like an antenna within us opening us to the lower regions where massess of beings are waiting to enter us as ET's, spirits & astral entities (read Dancing with the Devil). He is also reinforcing what Sathya Sai Baba, Radha Soami, Deepak Chopra and other masters are advising.
Eat meat and you are breaking the commandment "Thou shalt not kill" The Gospel also says " Wheresoever the carcass is, there will the vultures be gathered together". So the responsibility lies with you when you eat meat.

Do We Know" HOW" To Eat? 17 April 2000
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I have read my share of diet books,(and been on several diets) but this book is not like that. It did show, me, though that food, when given due respect can make tremendous transformations in people; physically, mentally and emotionally. That it can be used to nourish all levels.

This book has nothing to do with food portions or food selections or anything like that. It's about where your mind and heart are at as you eat. Because if one of them are missing at the dinner table then one of them is not going to get nourished. Simply, it shows that if you learn to eat with your mind and heart in attendance as well as your fork and knife that magic things can happen to you both inside and out... like you can lose weight without following rigid and/or restrictive diets. That you can eat what you want, when you want. That everytime you eat you can feel you are helping yourself, rather than hurting yourself.

I wish every person who struggles with a weight problem could read this book. They would never feel like a failure again(as I did). They would just be(like me) so grateful that somebody told them a few things.

Very good book.
It take the very simple act of eating and turns it into a powerful act of nourishing your mind body and soul. very easy to read. very thought provoking. Keep in mind while reading that this is not a typical book that an author sits down and write but a book that was created out of oral lectures that Omraam has given.
The only aspect I didn't succumb to was the whole vegetarian thing , even though this is not a dietary book he advocates a vegetarian diet.

This was a gift that a friend of mine wanted because she was always referring to it. I do not know anymore about it.
