I've listened to Xfm for a good while now and trust them to play the best in rock and alternative music. this book doesn't disppoint - featuring some of my favourite bands and songs; everything from blondie and blur to verve and velvet underground! i've been looking for great music read and this is full of interesting stories from music industry insiders about each of the songs, plus xfm have included all of the sleeve artwork in its full-colour glory! i'm the sort of person that loves to look through the artwork when i buy a CD, so this ticks all the boxes for me - it looks superb! hurrah to Xfm.

To be honest I've been looking for a book like this for a while, I love Xfm and this doesn't disappoint. There's loads of stuff i never knew, it's a massive book, perfect for my pub quiz knowledge. Get stuck in!

I love music so this is a must for those who love it as well.It has some very interesting stories about certain songs and bands and the quality of the book is excellent.I would highly recommend this book.

Top 1000 songs of all time
My eldest grandson (14)is very into music and this book is his constant companion, he was very grateful to receive it

Limited creators; limited variety
I love the premise of this book. Many of the songs chosen would be in my top 1000. BUT the variety of musical styles is limited by the TOP groups having too many songs in the list. Read more
