5.0 out of 5 stars Keeps getting better 6 Oct 2010

Covenants destruction of the staff of law in the first chronicles set into motion events that caused the "land" to evolve into something no one could have predicted. I'm almost done with "The Wounded Land" and the 2nd chronicles is starting out even better than the last, which says quite a lot.
5.0 out of 5 stars A hero you can hate. 12 July 2010
By Gary Plesea - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
Thomas Covenant is a most complicated hero. This is book 4 of a six book original saga so is not a stand-alone book. Trying so hard to understand, and do the right thing, and seemingly causing more pain than he alleviates he none-the-less is the only hope, resisting and persevering at the same time. Read these books if you like fantasy, angst, evil and courage. Gary Plesea
