Just finished The Worst Thing About My Sister... it's funny, lively and energetic! Marty and Melissa are like most sisters - either the best of friends or the deadliest of enemies, depending on their moods. So when Mum asks them to share a room you can be sure the sparks will fly! Read this if you liked Best Friends - it's a similar length and the characters will make you smile just as much as Gemma and Alice!

I found this book very Short for some reason I think it needed more to it but it was a good Book .... But I liked Saphire Battersea and Hetty Feather much more when is the third coming out ??? In this book I felt the feelings in Marty as who likes to be bullied :)

I was looking forward to the release of this book being a sister myself, but was dissapointed. I am a big JW fan, but this isn't one of her better books. It was imaginative but quite childish and VERY short, and seeing as I paid £6.99 for it (purchased at ASDA) I was not impressed. I read it in ONE AND A HALF HOURS!
However, this would only be a 2 star review if it hadn't been for Nick Sharrat's illustrations which enchanced each page, but if the best part of the story is the pictures, then you are in trouble.
I am hoping that 'Emerald Star' will prove Jacky hasn't lost her touch, and will be a much better read.
