I buy this magazine format publication every year, and I am possitively addicted to reading it! I by it together with Pocket World in Figures and World Almanac and Book of Facts and The New York Times Almanac. I receive these publications shortly before Christmas every year and can then celebrate by delving into all the updated numbers and facts from the whole world in the publications. The World in 2008 had a special section on China, i.e. on the rising number number of 'empty-nesters' aged 40-64 with no dependent children and a lot of money for consumption. The articles in the magazine have a fresh, updated perspective, also with tables containing important dates (parliamentary elections, etc.) around the world in the coming year.
