Apparently P.G.W was accused of writing books that contained all the usual characters, just under different names. After reading this, you will understand why, but as its only very minor characters that are affected, it really doesn't matter. The presence of Psmith makes up for any shortcomings this book may have. I've heard that Psmith was actually based on a real person, which is actually quite scary. I think after reading this book, most people will agree that Psmith is one of the best characters Wodehouse ever wrote - at times he makes Jeeves look slow, which is quite something. All three storylines are up to, or above Wodehouse's usual standard, and in general it is very well worht reading. Buy it. What more can I say?
