An alcoholic Dad who verbally and physically abused his wife and children, poverty, helplessness, disability, depression, suicidal thoughts and self-harm. A possible suicide note that ended up celebrating life and dedicating work to Dad with lots of love, some peace and a little bit of pain. This book saved me and my life. After the reading, I celebrated my life with a glass of red wine.

courageous 11 July 2005
Format:Paperback
Abuse, family pressure, prejudice and severe mental illness, Dolly Sen has compiled problems from her childhood. It's really amazing and courageous to write an autobiography with much as humour and irony... A book which touches your heart, a lot of emotion and finally, the joie de vivre of an independent woman who has achieved he life instead of obstacles.

For me, this book is the best. I am crazy about this book, because it's a real story about a girl. She describes how she has been abused, and she has fallen in a depression.
