A great book, and a useful resource for primary teachers, but it's such a shame Allan Ahlberg wasn't one of the poets featured, his children's poems are fantastic.

I read two poems by Edward Lear- The Jumbiles and The Owl and the Pussy Cat.
1 poem by Willam Shakespear - Sonnet 18.
And 1 poem by Brain Patten - Geography Lesson.
This book is great for children of all ages and sizes.
I highly reccomed this book for any age of child that loves poetry just like me.
