Most people should be able to find something suitable for an assembly.
The poems are arranged in sections, but it is still probably worthwhile flicking through the book in advance so you have an idea of what's in it.

Yes there are some good poems but very much aimed at primary schools. It doesn't mention that at all. So being in secondary school it is pretty much useless for me. Rather misleading I think.
