Pure genius! I bought this book for my partner a while back, and we have had endless fun showing it to friends, especially those from other European countries - who can't beleive it is a serious book. The range of picture is quite bizarre. Some are obvious, like the food, but why are there two pages of kitchen items such as whisks - both hand and electric! - and spatulas?

I've never had the courage to use it as it is meant to be used, but for entertainment, it has been excellent value for money!

This book is great. My sister is going overseas this summer and speaks only English. With this book I am much more confident that she will make it home in one piece! :) They thought of everything, even down to pale or dark beer. I would definitely not leave the country without it even if I had a grasp of the language where I was going.

Used it during a trip to China. Was of great help as no English was spoken at all. Lot of fun to use as well, creating lot of interaction with locals.
