About the Author
Lucy Coats read Ancient History at Edinburgh University, then worked as an editor for a children's publisher, and now writes full-time. She is a gifted poet and reteller of myths and legends. She has two children and lives in the countryside in Northamptonshire. Anthony Lewis lives with his wife and two young daughters in Cheshire. Since he graduated with a first class honours degree in 1989 he has illustrated and contributed to more than 200 children's books at home and abroad.
