1.0 out of 5 stars Honestly the worst book I have ever read. 22 Jan 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
If I could review this book with less than one star I honestly would. I mean no offense to the author but this book AT THE VERY LEAST needs a masochistic editor to attack with a pen and a couple dozen new drafts with independant reviewers.

The main problems with the book is it reads as a rough list of plot points apart from sections which I can only describe as 'Torture porn'. Which not only were the only parts of the book with any thought or detail put into them but were also quite out of character for the rest of the book. In comparison to the 'writing style' of the rest of the book it was VERY out of place.

I persevered through this book because the emotional journey of the main character at points was quite touching but my main problem was that he just dissapeared about a third through the book due to an entire personality swaparound! And yet again another third through the book!

But the part of the book which makes this honestly the worst book I have ever read is the part where we go through the second third of the book where the main character is a stain on the world (this is where the torture porn apsect comes in) and is pure EVIL from this but when it comes to his second personality swap we are just supposed to accept that he is worthy of our love and support. I'm sorry but after reading some of the 'torture porn' he partakes in I will not root for him as the good guy! He does not deserve redeeming love or whatever the author is trying to convince us of.

Truly disgusting, actually made me feel ill.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth bothering 8 Feb 2013

Silly, poorly written, plot holes, unbelievable characters, unrealistic dialogue. Not recommending this one, even if it's free later. Reads like a high school creative writing story.
