4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting and Highly Readable 9 May 2013
Format:Paperback
I found this book to be highly readable and very interesting. It is a fine account not only of the obscure and mysterious Kony and his Lords Resistance Army but also of the politics and events of the post colonial Uganda. The authors travels into northern Uganda in search of Kony and his followers is at times spooky and you can feel the menace and evil lurking out there along with spectres from Uganda's past like Idi Amin. The author has done a great job shining a light on a subject who despite his notoriety remains essentially a murky character hidden in the shadows.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great read 10 May 2013
By Scott Harpell - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Fantastic mix of the history and personal stories of those affected (as well as those partially responsible) by the ongoing tragedy. A great easy read to get the reader to understand the scope and scale of the events unfolding in CAR, DROC, ROSS and Northern Uganda.
