More About the Author

"Whether paranormal or contemporary, the one thing all my stories have in common is the fight for what you really want from life." (Dianna Hardy)

Dianna Hardy is a UK-based, international bestselling author of The Witching Pen series, and the Eye Of The Storm series. She combines a titillating mix of contemporary and paranormal romance, as well as urban and dark fantasy, into her writing, to bring you stories that are action-packed, fast-paced and not short of heat, with the focus on both character development and the plot. She writes full-length novels and short fiction. She has also written poetry (first published in 1997) and esoteric books and articles. Nowadays, she chooses to concentrate on writing fiction.

In December 2012, Releasing The Wolf hit the Kindle Paranormal Fantasy charts in both the US and the UK, where it stayed for three months, enjoying a highest ranking of #20. The first two books in the Eye of The Storm series have enjoyed success in the top 100 of Fantasy charts on Kindle US and Kindle UK, and all books in the series to date have reached the top 100 of the Fantasy iTunes charts in Netherlands, Norway, Australia and the UK, with Heart Of The Wolf (book 3) reaching #1 in Denmark.

The Witching Pen series, 'Til Death Do Us Part and A Silver Kiss, have also hit the top 100 of Kindle and iBooks charts (Fantasy, Romance and Horror) in a number of different countries worldwide.

Although quite active online, Dianna prefers the quiet company of nature and animals to the hustle and bustle of people. She loves anything paranormal (she doesn't really consider it "para"), organic food, walking barefoot, the smell of the woods after rain, and summer days.

However, she is also sustained by coffee, chocolate and the occasional vodka.

Having graduated from Richmond Drama School (London) in '98, she spent the next few years in a multitude of jobs (both acting and non-acting), studying anything that fascinated her, searching her soul, and finally found her passion where it had always been: at the end of a pen.

She currently lives in Surrey, England with her partner and their daughter, where she writes full-time.

(I purchased all the books in this omnibus separately. The following is a general review of the entire series.)

I adore Dianna Hardy's writing. She has a beautiful way with words, and of describing her world and characters and their emotions. Her stories - including her new series "The Eye of the Storm Series" and her individual titles - are well planned, and constantly keep you hooked. The way the plots unfold are genius, especially in her series; there is a slow unveiling with every instalment that keeps you wanting more.

In the world of The Witching Pen Dianna Hardy has really moulded quite a wonderful and unique view on the theories and stories of God and the Devil; angels, demons, witches, fairies . . . she has gelled so many elements together and come out with a world that is believable; stories that are fascinating and gripping. As a reader I felt the situations these characters were in were very possible. And the relationships between characters . . . we have so many elements of love and all its types from childhood sweethearts; friends turn lovers, love at first sight, everlasting, soul mates etc. You feel for each of the characters because even though they have their happy moments they really have to work for them.

I have read quite a few books in my time, but nothing like these three stories. You don't feel like you have to make yourself believe that all the things that exist in this world - this fiction world - exist, it just feels natural; like there is truth to it. I suppose to some degree there is, because the elements in the books are taken from truth and the author has placed a view point on it all; made everything work for this world and all who exist in it.

All 3 books in 1 ~ can't go wrong.

Book 1 ~ The Witching Pen

Elena is just beginning to learn who she really is, and the story follows her discovery of magic, demons, friendship, love and what family really means.

For a novella (though longer than some books I've read classed as novels), this book has so much going on - but not in an overwhelming way. The development of the characters grows greatly as the story goes on, and the descriptions leave little to the imagination, ensuring the reader feels each part of the story.

An excellent paranormal romance novella, and a great start to the series. I can't wait to read The Sands of Time and see what's in store for Elena, Karl and their friends.

Book 2 ~ The Sands Of Time

The first book, The Witching Pen, was amazing but this book just stepped onto a whole other level. I was instantly hooked from the first page, and wasn't going anywhere until I finished it. Each reader is in for a roller coaster of a ride, and a few shocks along the way.

One of the best things about this series is how there are many main characters, who all have their part to play and the reader learns more about each one over time. There is so much going on but the reader never feels overwhelmed, just completely engrossed as all the pieces start to fit together.

This book got my pulse racing a few times, and those scenes were essential to the story, but written so well it didn't seem wrong or offensive.

I am now addicted to this series.

Book 3 ~ The Demon Bride

The third and final installment in the Witching Pen Novellas, an adult paranormal romance trilogy. The Last Dragon, a spin-off novel, is due out Autumn 2013.

** This book does have some sexually explicit scenes ** but to me, without them this novella just wouldn't be the same.

OMGoodness all three in one book, talk about heaven sent!!! Thank you so much Author Dianna Hardy, finally having them all in one book is amazing.

The cover of this book is so striking in a dark dark way. Wow factor big time. I've decided to put a collection of all the reviews together here in a big one which covers the whole book.

Happy Reading!!!

The Witching Pen:

After a talk with her mother, Elena learns that its absolutely impossible to have a "normal" relationship wit men. The stakes are high and the losses are great if she does. (I won`t tell you why or what because of spoilers).

Elena is a thirteenth generation witch, and she is a VERY powerful witch at that. She has always kept to her true powers hidden, her mother and best friend since kids, Karl are the only ones to know her secret.
I will tell you that Karl has loved Elena since they were young but Elena has always shied away from romantic interludes, and keeps him at a distance... so she won't be tempted.

The Witching Pen, although is a novella it reads as a full length book. There is so much action happening with all the characters on every page.
You'll find a storyline that effortlessly flows across the page as you quickly devour each one.

Angels... Demons... and Witches, what a combination!!! AWESOME mix.

Fabulous, entertaining and outstanding series - A friendship that blossoms into love, with unpredictable consequences.

Elena soon discovers that her life as she knows it, and what she's been told is a lie. That there is so much more than what everyone has told her about!

An Epic Tale all at your fingertips 21 Sept. 2012
By M. Frank - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I stumbled on this author and the Witching Pen by pure accident over the summer ~ so grateful for the stumble I must say.........

I LOVE this series ~ there is such a passion and creative edge behind all 3 stories within this Omnibus that they can strongly stand alone. But why would you want that when you can have them all in one beautiful book? :)

Elena & Karl and their relationship is so well crafted in The Witching Pen. Their history, friendship and love for one another sets this series off on a wild and paranormal ride!

Amy & Pueblo have a lot of unfinished and unshared "baggage" to tell and to share with one another. Their relationship is a surprise and builds in intensity in Sands of Time.

Mary & Gwain ~ my ABSOLUTE FAVS!!! The Demon Bride is nothing short of brilliant and as I read it I could see it in blockbuster movie form - the apocalypse is coming and these 3 couples are right in the midst of it!

These couples all find one another along life's way and their connections are celebrated and supported throughout all 3 novels. I felt as if I was reuniting with old friends in each sequel.

You will NOT be sorry for joining me on this reading journey - it is sexy (with an erotic edge) , creative, unpredictable, and crazy fun with the various paranormal entities (angels, demons, succubi, witches, I could go on but why spoil the surprise:) Trust me!

All 3 wrapped into 1!! 27 Sept. 2012
By Dark Night Reads - Published on Amazon.com

As if it's not bad enough learning to be a witch but learning that by being a very special witch you can never have a sexual relationship with someone without it costing your powers would really suck. That's how The Witching Pen Novellas start off. Each novella takes you on an adventurous journey with Elena, Karl, Amy, Pueblo, Mary and Gwain. I was so impressed with the creativity of these stories that it is one of my recommended reads to friends and followers. The world Dianna has created is like nothing I have read before which is refreshing. All the characters in the stories are intriguing and it makes you want to read more about all of them. I just love the camaraderie between the characters and Dianna adds so much mystery and excitement in her novellas, they just get you hooked. Dianna got me completely enthralled with her story of Mary and Gwain and it made me just want more and more. They are my two favorite characters in the novellas, maybe it's their intensity or just the way they are so driven to save the other so they can have a future together or the fact that despite time, they are each other's destiny. These novellas are filled with jaw dropping action and adventure, fist pumping scenes and tearful goodbyes...just have a box of tissues ready. These stories are definitely the best.

Elena soon discovers that her life as she knows it, and what she's been told is a lie. That there is so much more than what everyone has told her about! Dark secrets of her family are discovered.
She comes into possession of a pen, yep... The Witching Pen where she can write the future, and to have it come true.. I`d say, be real careful Elena :-/ . With the pen, a evil demon is attached who invades, haunts and tries to seduce Elena while she sleeps.. Dreams.

The Sands of Time:

The Sands of Time picks right up where book #1 The Witching Pen left off.
Amy who is a witch/shifter has been kidnapped by Elena's grandfather, Etienne. He sends Amy to the year 1956 - Pueblo who is blood bond to Amy is searching desperately for her, but he can't "feel" her anymore !!! Not in HIS space in time...

With the help of Amy's friends: Elena, Mary, Karl and Gwain they are doing everything to save her.

I'm trying not to give to much away about the story, which is hard for me especially with this novella, because it is sooooo good.

But, I will tell you this, The Sands of Time is not just about one main character, nope there are several!! I counted 6. Some may say more or less. Each person or couple in this case have their own story going on. Each story vital to the complete package that makes up this novella. So much depth.

Pueblo - Shanka demon and human shifter
Amy - Shifter and witch
Gwain - Angel
Mary - ummm, not sure yet :-/
Karl - Angel and human
Elena - Witch (most powerful) and Shanka demon

The Sands of Time has pretty much a taste for everyone's ideal read, you'll find shifters, angels, witches, demons, wicked spells, portals, time travel and of course love and betrayal. (yep, I think that just about course it all) :-D

The Demon Bride:

~~ Witches ~~ Demons ~~ Fae ~~ Angels ~~ Dragons ~~ Oh yay!!!!

I have been completely in love with "The Witching Pen Novellas," and yes I have read then reviewed each one!! And I now have Omnibus which has all three combined into one book, it arrived in the mail the other day. The Demon Bride was as spectacular... although I think personally that it's the best so far!!

Author Dianna Hardy has me coming back for more each time, then eagerly waiting for the next one to come out. After reading this one I had at that time just placed my pre-order for "The Witching Pen Novellas Omnibus", and believe me it's beautiful.

The Demon Bride will take you into a much sexier and darker area, one that you didn't see in books 1 & 2, but this is a good thing believe me. All my favorite characters are in full swing as their lives and journeys continue: Karl, Elena, Pueblo, Amy, Gwain and Mary.

Star players are Gwain and Mary in The Demon Bride, my two most favorite, especially Mary. In Sands of Time (book #2) their connection/passion was just beginning to blossom! *fireworks*
A passion so intense, you will be completely enthralled with on so many levels. I say this because questions that were left unanswered, you will see answered. A destiny becomes clear, shocking discoveries unearthed, heart wrenching love, both lost and found, ultimate sacrifice and unbelievable consequences that will effect the entire universe from the choice (s) made by one.

Author Dianna Hardy has taken this series over the top in The Demon Bride, but don't be sad, well ok a little sad as we wait for what's to come in "The Last Dragon" which is set for release in early 2013. This one will be a full novel. *so excited*

Well written, good story line. Once you start reading you don't want to put it down. Would have given 5 Starts if it wouldn't had some parts that where a bit confusing. All in all I do recommend this book
