About the Author

Terry Pratchett is a publishing phenomenon. He has sold more than 65 million copies of his books worldwide, and among his many prizes and citations are the World Fantasy Award, the Carnegie Medal, the BSFA Award, eight honorary doctorates and, of course, a knighthood. Sir Terry Pratchett is best known for his Discworld series, set on a flat planet, supported on the backs of four elephants, who in turn stand on the back of the great turtle A'Tuin as it swims majestically through space. Four of these novels - Hogfather, Going Postal, The Colour of Magic and The Light Fantastic - have been adapted for television, with more to follow. He lives near Salisbury in Wiltshire.

I took a gamble buying this book, as it was my first time reading Pratchett. But after finishing the Trilogy, I was hooked. Since then I have read fourteen other Pratchett books, but The Witches Trilogy is still one of my favourites! I particularly liked Equal Rights, as it starts out great and finishes great. I love Pratchett and would definitly recomend The Witches Trilogy to anyone wanting to get into Fantasy Books!

Witches Trilogy 27 Aug 2003

Superb and hilarious. Some of Pratchet's later discworld novels require prior discworld reading to get your head round, but this Trilogy is the perfect starting point. Be warned, you will not want to put this down and you will be hooked!!

All the best books about witches in one edition. Well worth the read. If you like a good chuckle this is the trilogy for you. All Terry Pratchett fans should have this in their collection.
