"The winter hare" is a masterpiece in art work if you are a nature lover and enjoy a view from an artist and how he came about to base his work on from having a day old hare brought to his kitchen by his dog one winters moring and what it was like to have it grow up in his household the closenest enabled him to draw the hare every day.

The illustrations are absolutely delightful, as you'd expect from Haslen, an excellent production and a lovely story. Worth saving up for.

I have had this book on my personal wish list for some time, and suddenly realised this would be perfect special gift for a very special friend whose cottage overlooks an open field. The sort of book to have out on your coffee table to leaf through as often as you take a moment to sit down. Something to pleasing to look at on every page.

Everyone who has seen the book has admired it. I can't wait to buy another copy for myself.

This book surpassed all my expectations. Illustrations are first class with lovely design and colour. Money well spent, would buy more from this author.
