A really good book as a starter for sports psychology that I am using as an aid to teach my classes

I like this book because the author speaks as a normal guy rather than some sort of mystic guru. He also recounts where things went well and where things did not go well. I could connect with this approach, not speaking as some kind of know-it-all superhero, but as someone passing on valuable experience learned from triumphs and defeats. The book is not shallow though, there are helpful insights into visualisation and preparation for challenges. I have already put some of the techniques into practice, although my field is in business rather than in sports.
