Reviews

Poor Boyz Windsurfing filmed relentlessly for three years and in nine countries to make THE windsurfing movie. This 62 minute epic was beautifully shot on 16mm film and the latest hi-def cameras from air, land and sea. It took 30 hours of helicoptor time to perfect the matrix style jump sequences. We're proud to present the story of windsurfing, from the rider's perspective. Filmed on location in Maui, Oahu, New Caledonia, Morocco, cabo Verde, Belgium Indoor, New York, Pozo, Fuerteventura, Sylt and Fiji. The film features an amazing soundtrack including artists such as Kasabian, Black Party, Wolfmother, Foghat, Nina Simone, Foo Fighters and also the music of The Rolling Stones.

Awesome! Everything about this movie speaks quality. The riders, the shots, the moves, the light, the music, the storylines... everything. Johnny DeCesare of Poor Boyz Productions has created the definitive windsurfing movie that will make you want to sail more now, or if you have given up, will make you want to get the kit out of the back of the garage and start again.
Buy it now, enjoy it with your family & friends and watch the extras later yourself to understand why this film is so good.

I own o few dozens of windsurfing movies. But this one stands out. Quality of filming is just better, helicopters are used better and surprisingly it makes a big difference. It is highly recommended. I hope that The Windsurfing Movie II will soon be available through Amazon.

The 1st reviewer is right - the same word I used when I first saw this in open cinema on a Greek beach - Awesome.! Even old duffers like me can appreciate & respect the sheer nerve and skill of these guys and the power of the sea. Also a terrific sound track. Had to have it - Goes well with a glass of Ouzo. Now I know what the 'No Fear' t-shirts mean...!

Spectacular footage, great interviews. It is just missing the most decorated windsurfer of all time: Bjorn Dunkerbeck. And it would just need to clarify how Robbie Naish got 23 world titles. . .(it's that you can get more than one in any given year because of the different categories). But all in all, awesome and I wish it were longer.
