(4 stars) A rising star from Hanwell via Athens, this outstanding young tenor saxophonist...whose beefy, extrovert style combines the best elements of Sal Nistico and Johnny Griffin is in sparkling form throughout...Fishwick's range and fluency is similarly distinctive, while Mudge, Cater and guitarist Price, whose unaccompanied chordal intro to Prelude to a Kiss is a gem, are further assets to a hard-swinging session. --Evening Standard, (Jack Massarik), March 14, 2014
Jimmy Giuffre's Four Brothers gets things off to a cracking start, and exemplifies an album packed with flair, excellent musicianship and a commitment to an earlier style of jazz that's delivered with respect for its creators and scant regard for nostalgia...a triumph. --LondonJazzNews, (Andy Boeckstaens), March 11, 2014
