As live albums go - this one is exceptional. Recorded early in 2004, the band sound better than they ever have before and all those gorgeous vocal melodies you hear on their albums are audible on this live extravaganza. Featured here are hit singles, to rarely played live b-sides. Put that together with Ginger's warm bantering, and enthusiastic crowd participation and the feeling that results is almost like being in love. Excellent work as ever guys - see you on the next tour...!

This band are simply stunning live and that is brilliantly portrayed on these two cd's. This album has a great set list comprising a mixture of both new and great older tracks. CD1 concentrates mainly on new songs including 'Top of the World' and the punch the air 'Vanilla Radio', whilst CD2 is packed with some mental versions of songs like 'Suckerpunch' and 'My Baby is a Headfuck'. Ginger is a straight up no nonsense kinda of a guy which is proved when playing older little played tracks like the amazing 'Turning America' and 'Dangerlust'. Before lauching into 'Dangerlust' Ginger blatantly tells the audience to "humour us if we mess it up" or "cheer really loud if we get it right"....brilliant. You really need to go see this band live to understand what I really mean but buy this album, crank up the stereo and enjoy a masterclass in live musicianship. Can't wait for the live DVD from December 04 tour, hopefully next year.

Wow! This album is one of the best live albums I've heard. It encapsulates everything great about one of the most underrated bands on the planet. When "The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed" was released I was blown away by their new material, then "Coupled With" came along, and blew that out of the water, and now this! It's made me go back to the old albums, and give em a good listen, and now i can't wait for the December tour. I saw them at the Leeds festival, and thought "Life doesn't get much better than this" all that feeling is captured in this album. It sends shivvers down my spine! Catchy, tight, tuneful. Get into it people!! I especially like the way Ginger and co. humour the crowd on the last track of CD 2 and accomopany them singing "Don't Worry About Me".

please forgive me , i am some one who thinks he knows something about music well at least good music ie rock/metal/punk and every hybrid of the afore mentioned, but some how the Wildhearts seem to have past me by i bought the dont worry EP in 1994 and kind of forgot them having seen this CD bought it and soon realised what i had missed dont be a numpty like me if you like good rock with a punk/metal edge to it go by everything you can by the wildhearts and at £2.99 this album will only damage your brain cells (if played at the right volume)not your pocket.
