How do you put into words the continually brilliance of this author?
By this book, you know just about every character and therefore you become a lot more attached to them; as this book does, which again takes them through many ups and downs. (Which entails much tears and gleeful smiles)
I have never experienced an author that is so compelling in so many different aspects, from her avid descriptions to her heart in mouth twists and breath holding moments. In addition the way in which the book (as does the others) beautifully ensnare the historical context which makes the book so much more alive and real.
Normally in trilogies or sequels there is always a book that isn't as good and therefore doesn't stay in mind, but in the case of Jennifer Donnelly this is not the case.
I have waited 5 years for this book and it has certainly been worth the wait, and I hope there are many more books to come.
