OK, but be prepared to do conversions 17 Sep 2009

The recipes are good, but the book is based in european and metric measurements. The weight charts are in stones not pounds so you need to know that there are 14 lbs. per stone to convert. The recipes are all in metric so all the measurements are in grams, ml's, etc. and need to be converted to cups, tablespoons, etc. which can be a hassle.

Too Good to be True? Yep 17 Mar 2013

We're all still looking for the magic bullet when it comes to dieting, and we'll continue to look even though we already know the secret. The White Wine Diet is one of those books we think might just be the one solution we haven't tried yet. And wine to lose weight? Yahoo! Wrong. The book makes food suggestions, eating/drinking plans, blah blah blah. Of course it does. There is no magic bullet and I tried this diet for about two weeks and gained 2 pounds. See, I told you!
