This took 2 minutes to read, but I found myself thinking 'aah'.

It's Halloween and Daniella's little boy has been called names as he has no dad. He's run home from trick or treating, sobbing in his room and she's about to tempt him down. She's thinking of the last night she had with his dad, when they created this little boy.

The knock at the door has her hoping it's the bullies so she can give them a telling off, but it's Lance. She's not heard or seen from him in six years since their teenage romance ended and he left for bigger and better things, leaving her back home.

He explains that he's been moving around but that he would like to try again with her, that he's not stopped loving her, and that he would like to hire her to find the son that he is rumoured to have. She takes him to see her sleeping child. The End.

I liked it - it was a bit sad and then a bit heartwarming, but if there had been a little bit more explaining going on, a little more emotional stuff, a bit of anger then admissions of love, a bit with the little boy and how he now felt, this would have been really, really decent. Still, I liked it.

I don't know. I did enjoy the story, it was so sweet and endearing, and who doesn't love a happy ending?? Other than Stephen King, that is!! The only issue I have is how very, very short it was, and how easily the happy ending was reached... I mean the timing was just too perfect. If you are looking for a very simple story to uplift your spirit alittle then definately read this. If you get frustrated when life is just a little too easy and everything works out perfect, pass it by.

I'm torn, I don't know what to say.this book is so short it's like 2 things, the two characters has a 8 miunite conversation the length of the book, and it's like requesting a kindle sample which has limited amount of pages. (might be spoilers) The read was ok but when I started relaxing and getting into it it was finish. It started out with Danica having thoughts to herself about her son being tease about not having a dad, so she decides to fix something to eat while doing this her door bell rang, here comes Lance her high school sweet heart. Basically she invited lance in he heard he had a son and Danica showed him the son, lance then said I still want you and the book is finish that's bascially everything that happens. The story was well written but it has really no storyline other than thoughts and a few words spoke.
