This is an excellent book. A real page turner with lots of gritty realism and vivid fantasy.Very, very difficult to put down.

This is the best book I have read in a long time. I'd never heard of Paul Kearney before, and I found a copy of this in a second hand book shop. How could anybody part with a novel like this? It is absolutley fantastic and I am currently on a mission to find every book written by this Kearney fellow. Remarkable.
