Product Description

Product Description

More energy is encapsulated in every drop of good spring water than an average-sized power station is presently able to produce - Viktor Schauberger (1885-1958) WATER - all life depends upon it. Yet how often do we stop to consider it true significance, its essential nature? Viktor Schauberger was a pioneering genius who combined keen observation of Nature with intuitive brilliance and a sharp engineer's brain. He made a lifelong study of water - from mountain streams to river flows and from domestic supplies to advanced hydraulics - developing profound and radical theories about its inherent energies, which earned him the name of 'The Water Wizard'. According to Schauberger, water is akin to blood in the human body - the most important life-giving and energy-empowering, substance on the planet. Yet, with incorrect, ignorant handling, it becomes diseased, affecting human, animal and vegetable life alike, causing physical decay and, in the case of people, their moral, mental and spiritual deterioration as well. Schauberger was a fearless exponent of natural energy and a fascinating polemicist, revelling in doing battle with contemporary orthodox scientists. Sadly, the same extractive and water management policies which brought devastation and widespread pollution in his day have even greater consequences today. Themes addressed include: - The natural pulsation of water and how to maintain it - How minute differences in temperature affect the natural function of water in the earth, in plants and in rivers. - How to regulate rivers without damaging their vitality and health - The natural conversion of sea-water into fresh water - The consequences of sterilisation and chlorination of water The 'Eco-Technology' series, in four volumes of which this is the first, makes available for the first time Victor Schauberger's original writings and passionate debates. Other books by Viktor Schauberger Energy Evolution The Fertile Earth Nature as Teacher.

About the Author

Interest in Viktor Schauberger is enjoying a worldwide revival because he was able to convey how an understanding of Nature's subtle energies is essential to our survival. Callum Coats has painstakingly collected, translated and edited the material for what promises to be the most definitive study yet of this extraordinary man's life and work. Other volumes cover Schauberger's research on trees, soil and fertility and his amazing practical applications for working with nature and for generating free energy. He is also author of 'Living Energies', the standard work on Schauberger's ideas.

The water wizard 3 Sep 2010
Format:Paperback
The water wizard is a facinating book that holds the key, in my view, to many hidden secrets about our natural world and the universe that science and commerce has disputed and kept out of the mainstream for egotistical and financial gain. Well worth careful reading and contemplating by setting your "conditioned beliefs" aside and sensing if it connects with a real truth or not.

I didn't know the books about the findings of Schauberger were so little reviewed. I thought they were pretty popular. They should be, because this man shows and learns you things that you can't find anywhere else. Many amazing things, but so logical when you put them in the bigger picture by reading many different books about Life.
And most of these amazing things are actually really simple, logical, but we somehow got diverted from these realities. Schauberger rediscovered these realities simply by watching Nature, trying to grasp its laws. First Comprehend and than copy Nature, as he said.

In this book the Natural flow of water is described and its vital importance for the Earths wellbeing, and how we humans are destroying it. Also the Natural flow of rivers vs. their canalization, which is destroying the life of water and therefor the life inhabiting it. The importance of temperature in water and its effects are described. How a trout can swim up a waterfall, even impossible ones, and how the trout remains motionless seemingly effortless in fast flowing waters. Text about tapwater being cause of disease, because the Natural energy and integrity are destoyed by forcing it through small pipes. Etc etc. Much to learn ; )

The nature of water 23 May 2001
By Frank Germano - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This is the first book of the "Eco-Technology" series, and as so, gives you the foundation of the therories presented by Vikto Schauberger, and amplified by Callum Coats. It DOES contain quite alot of previous information written in Living Energies (Coat's first Schauberger book), however, the discussion and the text is much more thoroughly covered. The substance of water, water supply, deep-sea water, the consequences of drinking purely mechanically treated water, notes on the secrets of water, high-frequency water, the pulsation and healing power of water, river regulation, groundwater tables, temperature and movement of water...notice my use of the word WATER. Yes, this book is about water, but, by reading it, just wait until you discover what you DID NOT know about "water". It is a very good start, and as I said, a foundation for understanding the theories of Viktor Schauberger.

Thick, yet perceptive 29 Oct 2005
By James P. McMahon - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I have found this book not only hard to read but also spattered with tones of religion that were disturbing. It was difficult to wade through. And yet I have to say that Schauberger's theories about a natural energy in water are very perceptive and demonstrate an awareness of river systems and water movement understood by only a handful of people still today. I have worked on river restoration and with water and have done so for a number of years (...) and was looking to increase my understanding of the natural energy in water. Does it absorb into the body more readily? Is it healthier for us to drink? Does it cleanse itself of pollutants as some suggest? I didn't find the answers int this though I found these suggestions. I have since experimented with products based on Schauberger's work and am most intrigued with what I experience.

As I say the book is thick and deep and difficult to read, at least that's my experience of it. And yet it contains perceptions that the serious student of water will wish to learn. Not for the novice or casual inquisitor.

Great Book 11 Mar 2008
By C. Nurick - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Well written book. If you are intersted in just the devices Viktor built and want to begin to understand the principles involved, buy this book and make sure you get the Volume 4 - The Energy Evolution as well. It helps to have an understanding of particle physics and engineering to build the devices but all the basic principles are included in the books.
