This was the second Roberta Kray book i've read and although I've wanted to like this author, I can't. She has been said to be similar to Martina Cole and Mandasue Heller but she is not in their league, sadly she's on the outside trying to get in.

I couldn't connect with any of the characters. This book was over 500 pages long but the story would of been better if it had been half that. It was so long-winded and drawn out. Some of these reviews said that they couldn't put it down. I disagree, I couldn't pick it up!

A good book is when you don't want it to end. Unfortnately this was not the case, I couldn't wait to finish it.

If you want a gritty hard-edged read, read a Mandasue Heller or an early Martina Cole. Unfortnately this is not one of them!

Roberta Kray villain's daughter
This is a good book the plot is very solid, however in places is predictable. Only point i have really got is this story could be told in half the actual length. Read more

Disappointed
I tried this author, as I enjoy Martine Cole for pure escapism reading, but unfortunately this is not in the same league. Read more

The Villian's Daughter
The Villian's Daughter is a cracking good read. From the excellent 'hook' at the beginning until a brilliantly 'unguessed' ending it's absolutely 'unputdownable'. Read more
