I brought this pop up for my 5 month old daughter this christmas. She loves the pop ups and she will turn the pages herself wilst on my lap, to admire the charminly designed animals.

The pop ups of the animals leap out of the book on every page.
My favourite page is the snowy owl at the end of the book, she has claws the stretch out as you open the page..and little mice pop back into there nest for safety...eeeekkk

A truely lovely book..

A stocking filler for our nearly two year old. Not as avidly read as others in this range but still a good book with short rhymes and excellent pop ups.

Beautiful book with amazing pop up animals which leap out at you. It's for my grandson's 3rd birthday in December, so he hasn't seen it yet but I know he's going to love it.

These books are great for young children. The pop up pages contain characters which move as you open and shut the pages. Each page rhymes and I know most of them by heart now. Loved by my children.

We own several of the books in this series and started out with the Silly Sheep (farm animals). I would put the pop-ups in this book on par with the farm animals ones. If you already own several farm animal books, go for this one. If you don't already have many, I would say the farm animals one would be my preference. All our books keep his attention span for the duration of the book and has done since he was less than a year old and from the looks of the review, will have plenty of milege to come.

However in terms of the illustrations, the ocean one is by far the best... with ones which will make even you go wow each time you open the book. However you compromise a little on a more forced rhyme scheme (if I had to pick out a flaw). For older kids, try the dinosaur one. Amazing.
