At last an album with ALL of their best tracks.
From 1979 to 1983 Jeffrey Daniel, Jody Watley and Howard Hewitt were without peers. All of your favorite tracks from this period are right here, unlike previous albums which somehow managed always to miss out at least one of their big singles.
Lively, catchy and pleasant to the ear, infact most of the tracks sound better than I remembered them from my days as a DJ. The music really is very good. Perfect for a non teenage party.
'There it is', 'Dead give away', 'I can make you feel good' and 'Night to remember' are still classics. Add these to 'Friends', 'Take that to the bank' and 'The second time around'. So, you are talking a seriously good album here.
Being a purist I would prefer the tracks to be confined only to the classic period, but still worth five stars.

The very best of Shalamar is definitely one of the best albums I have. It has all of their classic songs on the album including my two favourite: 'Friends' and I can make you feel good'. It has all the makings of a good album and they are still excellent in present day.

Undoubtedly some of the best disco tunes of the 70's and 80's. Great vocals, great melodic rhythm and awesome lyrics. A must buy for fans of Earth, Wind and Fire and Wham!!!!

Music of this quality at this price - if you were out strutting your stuf in the 80s you have to buy this. How fantasic is this music!!!!
