The latest album by Chicago's Tossers is absolutely brilliant. This is their first album on Victory, a label with loads more money than Thick records, and it shows in the production. It's a bit slick for my taste, but T. Duggins's lyrics are stunning and moving as always, and the album's energy is palpable. "the crock of gold" and "drinking in the day" are the best songs in my opinion, but there isn't a bad song on the album. I still have to say it's not as good as Purgatory, but that one is a one in a billion piece of genius. This is celtic/folk/punk at it's best, and fans of Flogging Molly, the Pogues, and the Dropkick Murphys will love it.
