I bought this book for my partner who wanted to sing to our newborn baby but couldn't remember the words or music to any of the nursery rhymes that she used to know. Most of the rhymes were familiar to her and some were new, but overall the tape and book were a hit with all of us, my partner, the baby and myself alike. The baby obviously liked the music and we were additionally surprised when the lyrics revealed the disturbing things that people get up to in some of the stories. Perhaps I'll look out for a book on the origins nursery rhymes to satisfy our curiosity about the stories.

My 2-year old niece LOVES this book & tape combo. And it drives my sister MAD as the tape has to be played in the car all the time, no matter where they go.

hello there i bought this book for my grandaughter who was 1 yr old and she loves her book and with a disc of nursey ryhms she will sit for ages looking at her book and listening to them on disc wont let you take it off her and says its mine so we leave it on for and then she falls asleep listening to the rhymes

Good but does not come with CD
