I've visited Lego Land several times and am constantly impressed by the creativity of the models on display, and have always come away wondering how I could go about designing a model from scratch like the professional builders do.
The LEGO Builders Guide gives you a step by step guide from starting at the very beginning with choosing your subject, planning using handy templates, building techniques, and presentation.
This book will help you

- Organise you Lego bricks
I purchased this book with one specific project in mind, but reading it has given me a hundred more ideas

This book is brilliant. A really good guide to Lego building. I shall be using it as a reference a lot. As other reviews say, this is not for small kids but for adult enthusiasts really. For me, that made it even more suitable. The Brickopedia part of it is great.

My son is mad keen on LEGO and so I naturally thought that this book was going to be perfect for him. Wrong! This book is only suitable for "grown up kids" i.e. adults. The few pictures that you find in the book are in black and white and the type face is very plain.
Best keep your money for the "Official" LEGO products.
