Format:Mass Market Paperback
Having found this book on a clearance table, I have to say it is probably the best $2.75 I've ever spent. I was caught up in the characters and their friendships right away and felt as though I were right there with them. This is one of my "comfort" books, you need a really good story but don't know what you feel like getting into, this would be one to choose.

I love the way the lives of all of the characters intertwine. This book has a very magical and mystical storyline. The book leaves you to decide if the journey was worth it or were the characters better off the way they were.

A magical story of the human-animal connection intertwined with a poignant tale of young love. My wife and I have read it a times and love it. Would love to read something more by the author, but have not found anything so far.

Fantasy on all levels
Excellent story, well-organized plot, maintains complete fantasy, from set and setting to character interaction. A worthy addition to any collection.
