Book Description

2 Nov 2000
In 1999 Manchester United achieved the unthinkable - they won the Premier League Championship, the FA Cup and the European Cup. The excitement generated by each success was heightened by the intensity, the closeness and finally the drama of the last ten days. The Unique Treble will appeal to all supporters of Manchester United because it shows through graphic line drawings, as well as full-colour photos, the build up to each of the significant Manchester United goals throughout the season. Alex Ferguson provides a fascinating insight with his managers reports as each match in that remarkable season is captured in detail.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fairly Good 25 Mar 2001
By A Customer
Format:Hardcover
Sir Alex has really produced quite a good book here, it really gives you an inside view on his thoughts and so on up to the big games and during them. The pictures and diagrams of the goals are good as well and they really show them in detail. A thoroughly absorbing guide to Manchester United's Unique Treble winning season. One weakness would be the fact that there is not enough description of each match.

3.0 out of 5 stars Treble 1 July 2011
By Jonbob
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is nowhere near as good a read as his earlier diaries and reflects the change of emphasis from producing something real football fans appreciate to something which will be a nice present to open for somoeone. having said that it gives a good view of the season and has some exellent photos. A grittier more spontaneous diary would have been better.
