What a fantastic coffee table book! Packed full of ideas on how to kit and fit your home whether its your first, last or an investment. Loads of reference sections on kitchen and bathroom fitments, paint and wallpaper finishes and pages towards the end of the book with contact names and addresses to get you started.
A must have for any homeowner looking to improve, or indeed anyone interested in home designs.

This is a great book for many reasons but here's the main one: There are many "creative" design books and there are many technical manuals. This book bridges the two genres with an inspirational approach to design yet it seamlessly changes into a reference book with details on materials and suppliers by the time you get to the end. I love it for that. It recognises the practical requirements for great design...

easy to read & very informative. How to design your family home, first home, home when the children leave home. second part of the book goes into detail on all aspects of decoration and interia. Well shot photos of many modern homes to give you a vast amount of ideas to apply to your own place. Must have in your interia collection.
