I lead a really busy lifestyle and I often feel stressed and anxious. In an effort to improve both my physical and mental health I thought I might take up Yoga. Unfortunately, I can never find time to go to classes, so I thought I'd look online for a book that will give me enough information to at least get started.

I was lucky enough to come across this book during it's free promotion, and it was an absolute bargain. I found all the information I needed, and more. It's quite a short book, about 89 pages, but it really does cover all aspects of practising yoga, and is perfect for beginners.

All in all, a concise and informative guide; ideal reading material for anyone looking to introduce some peace and relaxation into their daily routine.

A really great introduction to practicing yoga, from the in-depth explanation about what yoga is, why one should practice yoga, and how yoga can help one to find their inner peace amongst the hustle and bustle of daily life which can be extremely stressful and taxing to our bodies, both mentally and physically.

The various types of breathing exercises as suggested by the author is fascinating to learn about, along with various physical exercises which are delivered in clear, easy to understand manner, with step-by-step instructions along with images to show you how the positions should look like.

Overall, this is an excellent guide, especially for those who are new to yoga and wish to learn it in the comfort of their own home.

I chose this book because it was very much the "getting started" part that I was struggling with about yoga. But this is great stuff. It has all the information you could possibly need as a beginner but not so much as to overwhelm you. First you learn about the history of yoga and more about it as a discipline before moving on to practicing breathing and then the different exercises.

The latter part has lots of pictures to act as an extra guide and it's all very clear. There's a good focus on being gentle and taking care of yourself which is important to emphasise. It's not just about the practical aspects either, there's discussion of the mental and emotional benefits as well without being too overtly spiritual.

All in all this is a fantastic guide and I would recommend it!
