I was pleased to receive this as a christmas pressie as i have started my own dog care business and its great for quickerly checking up on clients breeds i am unsure of before going to an appointment. The illustrations are good, the only thing i would like to read more about is greater detail on temperaments.

My daughter was interested in this book so she could see all the different kinds of dogs there are and so we could become more educated on each dogs temperment, etc. This book doesn't have every breed which was disappointing but there are many dogs represented. Overall I am impressed by this book and happy I bought it.

I purchased this book several years ago and found it to be beautifully organized and consistent throughout each breed and class of dog. I just purchased a second book to give as a gift and the recipient's opinion was the same. I've referred to many dog books and find this book one of the best.
