Terrific new recipe book for Christmas 2011. The very best chefs whip up some realistic recipes for the festive season.
Includes timetables for preparing the festive favourites. I was disturbed to note the first date (6th October) had already passed!
Plus some really useful features on:
Delicious fresh starters
Speedy tuffings and sauces
Exciting party food and drink
Simple - but devastatingly flavoursome - puds
...and last, but not least, some absolutely wonderful suggestions for what to do with leftover food, including that obligatory turkey!

I ordered this Christmas cookery book in the January sale. I wasn't sure what it would be like, but I am more than satisfied. It has a nice variety of recipes from everyone's favourite chef's. Most are really appetising & the recipe instructions are easy to follow. There are good ideas for a 'new' take on what to make with seasonal produce. Nice illustrations to go with the recipes. I am very please with it & I can't wait to get cooking!

Saw this book on Amazon but wasn't sure whether it was for me, so did I bit of research at a bookshop, and decided that for the £1.99 asking price on Amazon it would make a fantastic gift for my daughter, my sister, me and another friend for next Xmas. It has a brilliant section to help you plan your xmas meals and has contributions from a variety of chefs, so there should be a recipe to please everyone from the novice to the more experienced cook. I love preparing food for my family and it is an art we need to give to our younger members of the family. Would defintely buy more ... if they go down again.
