Connie Francis... what a singer! She could move from any music genre effortlessly whether she was singing pop, rock'n'roll or country and western and not only that but she could sing in multiple languages too inc. Japanese! She's the type of singer who can bring a song to life, conjure up so much emotion with her voice that really hits the heart strings... truly one of the greatest voices of all time!
This collection of 3 CDs - all individualy packaged with their own cover art, brings together mostly album tracks from the many albums she made for MGM in the late 50s & 60s. It's a good mix that you won't find on any of the other compilation CDs, even if you have the Bear box sets, there are later songs here that are not featured on either of these sets.
You have to listen to the songs: Where Is Your Heart, Love Me Tender & Wishing It Was You, and I guarantee you will not fail to fall in love with her beautiful voice, and she could melt the hardest of hearts with these songs I swear.
It would be great if some of her old albums were re-released on CD, 'til then there's always the vinyl on eBay.

Have to admit that despite having many female vocalists in a collection spanning over many years i thought i was well covered in having most of the quality singers.What an error i was making having discounted CONNIE FANCIS as being one of them .I purchased this set more in hope than expectation and have been overwhelmed by this artists voice superb orchestral arrangements and importantly dynamic recording all which puts this set way ahead in every respect from the so called modern efforts.Iam certainly in the market for more offerings from this source

I have always very much enjoyed the beautiful singing of Connie Francis, and with this really excellent collection I have been very much suprised, many of these recordings I had not heard from Connie before,they are really beautiful and my delight with this set is enormous, this pop singer is as one always hopes to hear, song after song fantastic, worth more than 5 stars

Another CD from the lady of the 1960's, she was and still is a well known singer with a remarkable voice. Good quality CD at a very reasonable price - made my day!
