Product Description

Book Description

From the author of The Celestine Prophecy - the phenomenal million-copy bestseller - comes the much-awaited fourth book in this remarkable adventure series.

Product Description

The Twelfth Insight is the fourth book in the hugely successful Celestine series. It is an adventure tale that is both suspenseful and contemplative, and builds on the insights introduced in Redfield's previous books. It describes a new wave of tolerance and integrity that is emerging in reaction to years of conflict, warfare and political corruption.

With unsurpassed insight, James Redfield continues the astounding spiritual journey that is the Celestine series. Through deep intuition of the world within and without he moves the series into the future, showing us that 2012 is not about the end of the world - but about the unifying life of everyday miracles.

In this book, the familiar character of Wil returns along with our narrator, 'The Hero'. Wil has found a fragment of a mysterious ancient document, which seems to be the first part of a guide to spiritual experience. Each step of the guide offers an expanded clarity about the larger picture of human life and purpose. But Wil and our Hero have only one part of the old document, and must systematically find the remaining parts. A global search has been unleashed to find the message and meaning of the document in its entirety.

Allegorical messages 15 May 2011
Format:Hardcover
The continuing theme where James Redfield uses the The Celestine device to steer the reader to a profound sense of experience is again full of twists and turns. I loved his original adventure book The Celestine Prophecy: An Adventure and anyone following these series of books may also like: Who Moved My Cheese: An Amazing Way to Deal with Change in Your Work and in Your Life. I think anyone reading these sorts of books should remember that they are fictional, so anything within the text is probable. Although one reviewer has stated "... it didn't really offer any new insights, only further explanations of the previous nine." I beg to differ, this is more about the potential change predicted for 2012. Anyone expecting a drawn out extension of James Redfield's first Celestne book will find this not to be the case. I believe a book should stand on its own merits, and this one does. Brilliant and well written.

Inspiring 18 Jun 2011
By Paul W
Format:Hardcover
Although the storyline in this book is quite implausible, as with Redfield's earlier books, the human element and Spiritual teachings offered are profound, simple and deeply nourishing. By adopting practices outlined in this volume, life does attain greater meaning and purpose.

It does feel like an important book for our time, acknowledging how the inner consciousness of humanity is evolving and wanting to move forward. Drawing from his previous books, this volume builds and extends those teachings, to make them current and relevant today.

Many people are interested in prophecies concerning 2012. I believe that this book addresses these prophecies realistically by detailing shifts in human consciousness that are possible and happening now.

I have found this book inspiring and I highly recommend it.
