A real page turner 7 Feb 2012
Format:Paperback
I bought this book having read Sam Christer's previous Stonehenge Legacy. I was not disappointed. In fact, I couldn't put it down. Not only it the story gripping with unexpected twists and turns along the way, its also a really interesting read. I look forward to the next book from this author.

Couldn't Put It Down 26 Mar 2012
By Galning
Format:Paperback
Having read the existing reviews "yes" there is a monk in this book (which has clearly drawn parallels with the Da Vinci Code) - but otherwise, NOT the same.

This book initially centres around The Creeper - a serial killer who quotes latin scripture and then binds his mutilated victims in sheets. It's only when The Creeper is found to have murdered someone involved in a screenplay about the Shroud that the police start to dig into the Shroud's background.

Apart from the fact that the Shroud is reputed to be a Da Vinci fake I don't see how this book could be viewed as a poor mans DVC.

At the end of the day there are only so many plot variations to a thriller / romance / vampire novel etc etc - but a story well told can overcome any plot similarities. I'd recommend it.
