I REALLY wanted to love this book. The main character is a true gentleman whom you will appreciate. But the brevity of the book - really a short story - provides no time for development. It is also fraught with errors of presence as the non character, omniscient, narrator sometimes places himself as though he were actually in the story - very confusing. If this book were truly "re-written" for today's reader, these corrections would be just some of the needed steps. Please try again.
