The DVD has the complete Series 1 and 2 of the TV programme 'The Tube' previously broadcast on terrestrial television, and now on Freeview. I really enjoyed the series of programmes and saw some that I had missed previously. The programmes concentrate on various aspects of the London Underground, featuring the people who work on the Tube, including station staff, drivers and the engineering side. Highly recommended for anybody interested in learning more about what happens on the London Underground.

This DVD presents the first two series of the documentary "The Tube". Each episode is approximately 25 minutes long and concentrates on a particular aspect of the operation of the London Underground (metro) system. For example, we have an episode that concentrates on driver training; another on tube crime and another even shows an attempt to break the world record for covering all the stations on the Tube in the shortest possible time!
The series is of interest to those who may use the London Tube and wish to know more of its workings. It also complements the various driver's-eye view programs that are available for individual tube lines.

The first two series I enjoyed far more than the third, which seems to have been made just to continue the series. I recommend the first two for an enlightening view of the staff on the Underground.
