Book Description

Having narrowly escaped the Governor's savage Huntsmen, Marta Banks and the other surviving Tube Riders are on the run in northern France. Trapped inside a government-assigned quarantine zone, they search for a way out of a bleak countryside littered with abandoned worker robots and haunted by sinister monks, while at the same time a far deadlier threat than any they have faced before is searching for a way in ...

From the towering spires of Mont St Michel through the dark horrors of the Paris Catacombs to the treacherous peaks of the French Alps, The Tube Riders: Exile is an epic continuation of Chris Ward's Tube Riders series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dark, Disturbing and Totally Brilliant 12 Jan. 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
OH THE POOR TUBE RIDERS!! Following on from having one hell of a time in the first book, Chris Ward has now gone on to kick even more lumps out of them! Exile is a brilliant follow on from Tube Riders, picking up the story from the end of the last book and just running with it into darker, scarier places. Again he has created hugely sympathetic characters - and again - not just among the good guys. And his bad guys - well - they just get nastier. A great rollercoaster of a read which I wouldn't have put down were it for being obliged to open Xmas present and cook things. Can't wait for Revenge. Keep up the good work :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Deserves to be a bestseller. 8 Feb. 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
In this exciting sequel to Tube Riders, Marta and the rest of the gang escape to France. But the Huntsmen do not give up that easily and a crack team is sent to follow them. And there is another problem. There was another survivor from the destruction that ended the first book - one more dangerous than all the others because for this survivor the vengeance is personal . . .

Chris Ward is an impressive writer. He has everything for me. His use of language is masterful, his plots are intriguing and unpredictable. He knows how to build tension and he doesn’t pull his punches. If anyone ever deserved to be a best seller he does.
Buy it. You won’t be disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as number one 8 Mar. 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The premise from book one was excellent, however the later half of this book about the escape to France, I felt lost the original idea and the plot and action became an bit unbelievable. Having said that it is a good piece of escapism.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent sequel 5 July 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The group have reached france, but they are far from safe. This book exposes you to a whole new side of the dark world with some brilliant twists and more fascinating characters. If you liked the first book you'll love this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great sequel 23 Jun. 2014
By am304
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is the sequel to the first Tube Riders volume, and the story takes us to France where our heroes are trying to expose Mega Britain's assassination of the European ambassador and get Europe to declare war on Mega Britain. Even though I enjoyed the book, I didn't find it as good as the first one, a bit like Star Wars Episode II... It's a bit like a road movie, where we follow the main characters from one place to another while they are chased by various people. Some of the characters also are a bit hard to believe, but I look forward to the last instalment of the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sequel to the famous Tube Riders 18 Jun. 2014

Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This was an excellent story, when so many sequels fail to keep up to the standard of the first novel. Well written, believable and a very good read. Most enjoyable sci fi
