Format:DVD
Basically a concatenation of original B&W footage organised to tell the story of D-day through to the fall of Berlin. Overall a bit front-end biased with a lot of footage of D-day and Normandy with the battles thereafter receiving rather light if not unfairly superficial coverage. Made by the governments of the US and UK in 1945 so a somewhat rosy coloured view of the allied campaign. My copy cost me £1.60 as it was `free' with Saturday's Daily Telegraph newspaper. The DVD and the newspaper together were worth the money.
